It is the festive local wine of the domain. Round, fruity and aromatic wine. Wine making with low temperature. Advised in any occasions and to sample freshly.


Wine stemming from an assembly of about 50 % of my harvest with characters of very ripe red fruits and pits soaked with an animal note. It's reflected completely, as its name indicates it, a traditional Morgon.

What They think about it.

Cuisine et Vins de France 1997 :  This Tradition 96 is the opening of a series of four vintages which rise crescendo in the concentration. This Morgon is soft so most of the family and samples with happiness from today. It delivers without restraint of the aromas of cherry, quetsche, a round and fine mouth, without clash or sewing. A smooth wine which will warm the autumn.


In our regional vocabulary, Tête de Cuvée, means the most particular vintage, the one that packs the major part of the tasters. I defined this wine as being elegant, flattering, feminine, aromatic with the power and of the matter.

One spoke about it.

GaultMillau 2000: Garnet; still reduced, wild nose; powerful mouth in the persevering fruit, the beautiful wine of future.

La Revue du vin de France 1999 : This Tête de Cuvée 97 has an élégance nose, floral and fruity. The mouth turns out long, structured, and almost "virile". It is necessary to wait for it even some months before sampling it.


Wine was complicated with powerful tannins but melted in dominance of very ripe red fruits (black cherry), red colour sinks, converted into wine by long maceration with low temperature. Selection of 4 from 60 to 100 years old plots.

La Revue du vin de France 2002 : The Cuvée Vieille Vigne présents a beautiful texture.

La Revue du vin de France 1997 : A Cru of Beaujolais which presents a good concentrated matter and a beautiful rétro olfaction.

Cuisine et Terroirs 2000 : Morgons filled enough with fruit and rich in matter to make the unanimity. One finds even it in Alsace in Antoine Westermann's cellar!


Vintage made in memory of our Mother and with one plot, usually offers characters of fresh fruits, silky, rich and ample wine. Wine making with very ripe grapes.

Good news?...

Cuisine et Vins de France 1997 : A small jewel this Cuvée Jeanne. The dress ruby, deep, brilliant is a first sign. Pure red fruits flavours, with a tone of toast, bring some additional information. The ample, silky, round texture, allying delicacy and softness allows to end in beauty. A magnificent wine, carafer just before serving it on a red meat.

Grafted vine plants

The Calot are among the biggest producers of young wines and greffables cuttings for the reimplantation of vineyards in the region. All the sorts of graftedwines and vines are found here. The reproduction is made with the guaranteed material but also according to the demand with the standard material. The grafting method is made now with the machine with the system said in double oméga.

All French wine-grapes varieties and table-grapes varieties are selling in traditional grafted vine plants and on order in pots.

All these red wines express themselves between about 2 and 6 years. If you wish to keep some bottles 10/12 the years and even more good years, you will have the surprise to discover a style of old Burgundy wines.

All these vintages are made for 100 % with the Black GAMAY with white juice; the crop is done only by hand allowing a whole harvest.
